Listen to the voices of Ayta Sambal educators and community leaders as they share their journey, their challenges, their aspirations, and the evolving meaning of ‘sandata’. Traditionally, ‘sandata’ was simply a physical weapon. But today, education has become their strongest form of protection to defend their identity, their rights, and their future.

Through the voices of students and teachers from BIHAWO Elementary School and LAKAS High School in Zambales, we witness how education shapes hope, dignity, and opportunity. Yet their stories also reveal the stark realities of limited resources, food insecurity, digital exclusion, and language barriers that hinder quality learning. By bringing these struggles to light, the video creates space for urgent suggestions and heartfelt appeals for systemic change. Ultimately, it builds toward a collective call: to recognize their fight, to extend greater support, and to secure the budget needed so every learner can be fully equipped for the future.
